It was dry and sunny in my part of England this morning so I gave my Nissan Almera a much needed wash with Turtle Wax Zip Wash. About a month back the car was treated to NXT Tech Wax and #16, it was my intention to refresh the 16#. Dry and sunny though does not always mean warm too. After waxing the bonnet(hood to most of you guys) and front wings I decided it was a bit too cool for #16, it seemed a little relucant to spread, so for the rest of the detail used S100.

Here are a few reflection type shots:

When it warms up I`ll do a more complete detail and get some shots with the whole car in them.

Also, I apologise for the poor image compositions. All my previous photographic experience is with a Nikon SLR, I`m really not used to the screens on these compact digital cameras just yet. This was my first attempt with the Fuji A330.:sosad

S100 is NEVER a bad choice.

Lookin good...how does the flake look in the sun?

I`ll try to take a photo over the next couple of days to show off the metal flakes. Last Summer I was using S100 over Autoglym SRP, this gives a great shine and the metal flakes really stand out. NXT as a base coat tends to darken the finish slightly and make it look a little less metalic.

Nice work, gave my nan`s 2000 Nissan Micra a coat of Super Resin earlier as the sun was out. Cant go wrong with S100.

I prefer #16 to S100 but they are both good waxes. I find S100 to be a bit more clear. Same for Pinnacle Signature.

Looks wise there seems to be little difference between the two. I find that when washing the car S100 seems much slicker than #16. The way your sponge glides over the S100 it feels like there is no friction at all.

#16 seems durable though, the beading doesn`t seem to have diminished at all over the past month.
