Hi everyone I was wondering if anybody could answer a question. I tinted the windows on my car two days ago and have not washed it since. I have a black acura and not being able to detail it is driving me nuts. Do you think its safe to wash the car without waiting the full 3 days as suggested wiyhout affecting the tint? Thanks guys.:)

I have never heard of having to wait after tinting windows. I never waited with any of my cars.

just dont clean the inside of the windows or roll them down and you will be fine

THE TINT IS ON THE INSIDE OF THE GLASS

You really don`t want to roll down the window. In one of my cars I had just tinted the window and had some people in my car. About 5 minutes later I heard the tint  someone started to roll down the back window and it peeled the tint up on the corner.

Yeah the tint is (or should be) on the inside of the glass. You can wash the car all you want as soon as you want.

I was advised not to roll my windows down for 3-4 days after getting the windows tinted. I figured the longer the better for the tint to cure, so I put masking tape over the window switches on all 4 doors so that I, or anyone else, could not deliberately or mistakenly roll the windows down. I ended up keeping the windows up for almost 2 weeks.

BTW, you should park in the sun often, it will help to evaporate the water between the tint and the windows.
