OK I used BMW shampoo to clean the car, followed by BMW polish followed by meguiars Gold Class wax to achieve this finish, I think it looks pretty good, would be interested in your comments, particularly if you believe other products might get a better finish?

Not sure how to add more than one file ? I would post more and clickable larger ones if I knew how ?

OK I have added some larger pics in the gallery now, not sure how you will view them, but if you check out the gallery under axe or something you should find them.

BMW polish? Is it a (very runny) liquid polish

Yes it is a liquid polish, (add it in a circle to your pad, and dab to the vehicle ... or apply with an applicator sponge) let me find the part no for you (if you go to Halliwell Jones or any main BMW dealer) you should be able to get this stuff.

I can tell you it`s as good if not better than anything I have tried ... the product no is 83 12 9 408 526

Sim,

You gotta get some Souveran on that sweet ride. It will be amazingly wet and liquid looking.

SilverLexus thanks for the tip, however I am not sure where in the UK to purchase the Souveran product?

I also believe that a product called S210/100 or something is very good/the best wax even?

Yes, P21S / S100 (virtually the same product, apparently) is a nice wax. Very easy to use. S100 can be bought from Harley Davidson dealers in the UK. P21S can be bought in the UK from Alex at www.seriousperformance.co.uk

Agreed, P21S wax is very good but I am not sure if there is any product which could be described as best. As for Souveran, the only way to get this is to import from the USA but dont forget, we can buy a lot of products here in the UK. I would also recommend buying from Alex :up

OK thank you very much for the tips, there is a harley (North West Cycles) dealer near me, perhaps I will go in and see if they sell P21S, thanks again. :)

Nice place this.

The Harley shop with only sell S100 (but same as P21S to all intents and purposes). See if you can pick up a bottle of S100 SEC (Shine Enhancing Cleanser) too.

I believe that the wax you bought from BMW is Klasse AIO. Save some money and try CMA or Autopia.org...A lot cheaper....:xyxthumbs

Very nice! Gold Class is the first wax I used on my black BMW, and the results were good. I then tried Meguiar`s #26, P21S, and finally Pinnacle Souveran paste wax which is my favorite to date.

I suspect the polish is made by Wack, as they are OE suppliers to BMW and Porsche.
