Hi guys,
My daily driver generates so much brake dust that my front wheels are fully covered by dust from one single drive on the highway.
My question is: I`m planning on entering detail contests and my rotors and caliper do not look new whatsoever.
What do I need to use and do to get them looking new again? Any special tricks? and what`s an excellent and friendly product to use?
Thank in advance,
HGT

I would recommend painting your calipers. It would be a very nice touch if you plan on entering shows.
I would highly recommend the G2 Paint Caliper system. Works great and you apply with a brush. Great variety of colors as well.
G2 system (http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/g2/caliper_paint.jsp)
As far as cleaning.....maintenance with something like Eagle One A to Z should work.
Hope it helps..

speaking of G2, I have it in red but haven`t had a chance to paint the calipers yet. I`m sure that`ll add a sharp look and will hold up to the dust very well
i`ll give eagle one a try or i have a bottle of sonus all-in-one cleaner that i`ll try also
Thx

Simple green [diluted] works great for me for cleaning, Dupli Color @ Advance Auto parts for painting brake caliper.

I`m going to attempt to clean my 9 year old Subaru`s wheel wells to a good standard.
I should imagine they need as much attention as the rest of the car.
