Overall, i`m happy with the results, i can still see cobweb scratches in the finish, but they are not AS apparent as they once were. #80 is a fantastic product, works for a long time and really helps deepen the paint. I didn`t have any 83 to try, but that may be next time. I really like EX, its very slick, goes on fast, and comes off easy. CMW was just as easy, but it didn`t seem to be as slick or deep as EX alone. I was originally going to try VM after the 80, but 80 did such a good job, that I didn`t need the VM.

I apologize for no "before" shots, but rest assured, i`ll have some for the next detail. Time for food....let me know what you guys think....

Edit: Here`s the process I used:

Wash with Meguiar`s GC Wash

Clay w/ Claymagic Clay kit (very good stuff)

#80 w/ Meguiar`s Polish Pad ( on speed 3 to spread, then 5 to work it in)

EX w/ Meguiar`s Finish Pad (on speed 3)

CMW w/ Meguiar`s Finish Pad (on speed 3)

If you still have swirls, then #83 (if you are sticking to the Meguiar`s line) is definitely the next one to try.

Looks really good! I probably would have gone with either CMW or EX. I think you will find after a while, CMW will get a bit slicker than it is on initial application. I know my car is noticably slicker the next day after I apply CMW.

DACP should take care of any remaining spider swirls and I would follow it with #80 since it will remove any minor hazing you might get and as you found it, #80 leaves the paint really wet looking.

Once you have the swirls out, then you can maintain with VM/EX, VM/CMW or VM/EX/CMW. ;)

Very wet looking combo!! :xyxthumbs

As other`s have said and I agree completely...#83 followed by #80 should take care of business.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Scott was right about CMW getting slicker after a day, after a session with the QD, my truck feels better, but still not as slick. I`ve got #83 on the way, so i should be good to go for the next detail!

Edit: Update: after one week, CMW lost its slickness! I dunno what i did wrong? :nixweiss

Update#2: After the first heavy rain storm here in CA, i`ve had to apply another product....CMW just isn`t for me....
