I wasn`t sure how to condence this to a thread title so here we go.

I somehow got some white over spray (I guess from line painting) on the bottom of the rear fenders of the Vette. I was wondering if claying it would help to remove this problem? Or if there is anything else I should try?

Yes, clay is good for removing overspray.

I think clay may have been originally developed for this specific problem (overspray removal) in repair shops.

I`d use a fine grade clay, something like ClayMagic blue, and use your favorite spray lube.

One is guessing without knowing much about when the paint got on, how much, type of paint, etc. The paint used for line painting can be VERY difficult to remove. Start conservative and work up to more aggressive methods if need be. The bottom line is get it off ASAP!

There are just spots of it on there, I think I got the majority off last time I detailed it with VM, NXT and P21S.
