Did Todd help on the interior? He mentioned your name to me over Thanksgiving but I thought you had a Solara...:nixweiss

Big improvement, BTW. :xyxthumbs

Nice job. Todd will do a great job on the exterior-I`ve seen his work. The green Solara he did is awesome and his car speaks for itself.

I may drop by and say hello.

What kind of steam cleaner did you use?

Nice work :xyxthumbs

It`s because floor mats end up looking like that, that I purchase factory rubber floor mats for all my cars.

Quick hose off and they are clean :up No stains, no mess.

gsrstilez: I used a steam cleaner and a lot of detergent and water. the matts themselves took 3 hours to do and they are amaingly clean. i bleached out the letters. they were almost black. you boys shoulda seen the collection tank.. the water was black.. literally.

tw85: No i did this one myself. spent a LOT of time doing it. I cant wait to work on the exterior with todd. i am really excited to see what we can do. i have a camry. want a solara eventually...

Mongoose: no the shifter isnt stock. thats my pride and joy. lol i installed it myself and i was very impressed with the outcome. i really like it. it was 50 on ebay. it`s a razo. w/overdrive.

The steam cleaner was a hoover spin scrub v2 or something to that effect. it produced really good results but i really had to work at it. these things were really messy. I am gonna try gsrstilez idea to see if i can get that mudd stain out i was having trouble with.

p.s please do stop by, i think todd wanted u to to work on it also if you were willing to. the swirling is pretty bad its gonna take a few of us to get them out in a decent amount of time. bad thing about black cars...

Wow...the mats really came out well! I need to do my drivers side mat again. It looks like you did a great job on the interior.

We`ll give the Pinnacle swirl removers a whirl next weekend...they should help to remove the water spots too...if not I`ve got a plenty of products to try. Then Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion and Liquid Souveran. I keep thinking about doing a sealant instead of LS, but I`d really like to see it on black in person.

Hopefully Lee will come by and give us some pointers, LOL, or lend a hand for a bit. 2 PCs are better than 1! Lee saw Rene`s car at NOPIs & I showed him the before pics...not as dramatic as Louis` transformation but it made me really confident; I do this for fun not money.

Rene said he may have to work; did you tell Louis?
