How do you guys polish and wax window pillars? I assume the only way is by hand. Seems like it would be to difficult not to get product on the trim that goes around the windows.

Depends on the product. If it does not stain trim then I apply that product to the trim just like I do to the paint. Otherwise I tape off any trim that may stain with 3M painter`s tape.

I use VM, it does a nice job and won`t hurt the rubber or the glass.

I am using Menzerna FP followed by AIO and the SG. Wont the PC remove the tape if I use that to cover the trim?

I usually do it by hand regardless of staining or not, just because I don`t like staining my sonus pads.

I do it by hand, easy to do with that small an area.

Depends on the vehicle. I use the PC with a 4" pad to do the B pillars on our Audis, but I do the C pillars by hand.

I use 4" pads as much as I can, or by hand using a polishing MF foam applicator like the Sonüs Der Wunder applicator (see link below).

Those applicators seem to have more bite than most other MF applicators. I`ve used them with AIO and S100 SEC by hand (before I got my PC) and and they got dirty really fast. I use a softer app to apply LSPs like SG and EX.

I got some green and yellow ones from CMA and some blue ones from Autogeek that seem softer. They are not as durable as the Sonus ones however.
