Do any of you guys use a polish for a white car?

My car is in new/good paint condition.

I usually just wash, clay, nxt twice, and #16 twice.

Heard that polishing a white car or light colored vehicles you cant see much difference.

Any opinions?

It`s ok to polish your vehicle 2-4 times a year. Polishing brings out so much more of the paint before waxing and/or sealing.

polishing in conjunction with claying are mostly what make the paint smooth, as well as polish is what brings out the color (as john said), and relfections/shine... wax protects

YES! Polish your car. I have had good results with AIO and GEPC to bring out the color/shine and 3M PI III MG to remove scratches and swirls.

Are you guys saying I will notice improvements even though my paint is in good condition and colored white. Its only 4 months old clear coat paint.

Yeah, it will add to the looks. Just use a light polish that goes along with whatever wax your going to use. As said before, AIO would be pretty nice to use and you could follow it with almost any wax.

There wont be a huge difference in looks, but you should see something. There is no need to polish everytime you wax, but a couple times a year would be good.

Yes you will notice a difference. You need to do a good polishing at least once just to get any oxidation/swirls out. Then you don`t have to polish much after that (1-2 times/yr) unless you notice new oxidation or new marring.
