I just tried Pinnacle Crystal Mist QD Spray over my layer of Poorboy`s Natty`s Paste Wax that was applied two weeks ago. And all I can say is that it really is a nice carnauba based quick detail spray. A litlte goes a long way and it actually brings back the just wax look. One of the better carnauba based QD spray that I have tried. I definitely give it a :xyxthumbs

What are your experiences with Pinnacle Crystal Mist QD Spray?

I love that stuff, expensive but like you said a little goes a long way. Its so thick compared to other qds you can actualy see the protection it gives. I find it the warmest glow of any QD I have ever tried. works best with a Pak Shak MF dont you think?

It seems to darken my yellow paint, which is a good thing...

I absolutely love the stuff...perfect to use on any carnauba-topped paint. For those of you who don`t know where to get it, www.autogeek.net and www.pinnaclewax.com have it

Does it leave the paint as slick as say...Mothers Showtime QD?

^I`d say a little slicker than that :)

I agree Ranney-it`s an excellent QD. I keep buying the Pinnacle kits in part to get Crystal Mist.

Pinnacle CM is great stuff. I used it all the time right before a car show with a Pakshak MF. It gave the finish a very nice pop. Its not the cheapest QD but its one of those things you break out "like fine champange or a nice cigar" :D

I`m with Terry, I use only when I have Souveran. Crystal Mist is awesome. It makes the car look like I just spent hours working on it.

no doubt about it - - that`s a great product. Another similar product is 1 Grand`s QD...it also is loaded with carnauba.

One of these days I am going to bite the bullet and try som Souv. Man $65+ for wax though is a lot. Especially when I have 1.5 cans of s100 and 1 of Nattys right now that I hardly use.

Gotta wait till it goes on sale, but even at that, it`s still nowhere near cheap.

I`m debating whether or not to go with the Crystal Mist or Optimum Spray Wax as one of my first product purchaes for `05

You can EASILY get 50-60 applications out of one jar though. So $1 per wax session....that ain`t bad ;)
