Removing line paint

My father-in-law has gotten yellow paint from line painting all over the lower rocker panels of his new Buick Rainier. Unforutnately he did not notice it right away so it has dryed. Any suggestions on the best way to remove it. I` m considering trying clay to see what happens.

Clay would probably be the best place to start. You may need to look for a coarser clay like Clay Magic`s red bar or possibly Meguiar`s Overspray Clay.
