Well my Aunt Kay`s B-day was a couple of weeks ago. So I decieded as a gift to her, I would detail her car for her. I had no idea it was something she had always wanted to do. She thought it was a luxury thing to have it done. So here it is.

She had been pretty good about washing the car over the years. However, that car wash came in the form of a gas station car wash. This thing had brush swirls/scratches all over the thing. The reflection was pretty bad, if any at all. Now to the results.

Process:

--Wash (Meg`s Gold Class)

--DACP Via LC Cutting Pad w/PC On 6 (X2 on Roof, Hood, Trunk)

--Poorboy`s PwC Via Meg`s Polishing Pad w/PC On 6

--S100 By Hand

--BnB On Tires, Trim, Wells

--Meg`s APC on Wheels, Wells, Lower Panels

Before reflection of hood:

After reflection:

These are dog scratches on the trunk, notice the antenna?

Now you see the antenna!

Hood Before:

Hood After:

Roof Before: Notice no reflection at all?

Roof After:Notice a nice reflection?

You would not believe how happy. Espeacially after I used FP II, WG Sealant, and natty`s. It was truly stunning. It looked like candy apple red.

And nice work lately yourself T. You have done some cars lately that have loooked really great. Sorry I didn`t leave any comments on your threads! Thanks for the kind words!!

Excellent job on all those scratches and spider swirls! Good idea to take care of those 4th gen Accords. Still a great shape and the drivetrains last nearly forever.

Thanks Sean, mcuh appreciated. I now see why you like the Menzerna MicroPolish (FP II) so much. That stuff leaves a great finish and is such a breeze to use. Thanks for using it and showing how well it works, it`s my new favorite polish!!

Yeah, maybe they exceeded their bandwidth. Seems to happen every once in a while there. I would need it at all if my brother would teach me how to upload to my own site. I have 3 gigs of storage space there.
