-P21S Gloss-enhancing Paintwork Cleanser

-Pinnacle Paint Cleaning Lotion

-Sonus Paintwork Cleanser

-S100 Shine-enhancing Cleanser

-Platinum Ultimate Paint Pre-Cleaner

I am looking for a product that I can use to give my car a fresh clean start, Like a spring clean up type product. Say my car doesn`t really need polishing, but has some sealant or wax on it that I want to remove and try another sealant or wax for the summer. Would any of these products help? What is the difference, are some more abbrasive then others, clean better, add more gloss then others?

Are these the right products for what I`m looking to do? :nixweiss

The two cleansers i have used are P21S GEPC and AIO <--(considered a paint cleaner by many others). Both are great in doing what they are designed to do. Using the P21S combined with P21S wax is a KILLER combo if you arent gonna be into using Sealants. AIO is a great cleaner that IMO has more cleaning power than P21S. I seem to find myself using AIO a little more than P21S now. As far as the others you have listed I have not used them and cannot comment on their results.

Here are some pics of my mom`s car with the P21S combo (2000 Infiniti I30 in dark green):

IMO the P21S gives the paint a ton more gloss than AIO. It does a decent job at cleaning....As far as polishing goes, if your car doesnt need it, then these are two cleaners I suggest. If your paint needs even minor polishing for swirl remover, these two dont really have any abrasives that would remove swirls effectively.

My favorite is Vanilla Moose, followed closely by PBs Polish w/carnauba and S100 SEC.

01bluecls, Very nice job!, Looks Clean, glossy and clear.

Are the GEPC and S100 Shine-enhancing Cleanser the same? Only because there`s a Harley Dealer not to far from my house, that I get my S100 at, and they may have the S100 Shine-enhancing Cleanser. This product could be used by PC correct?Whats most often used Finishing or polishing pad?

P21S and S100 are the exact same. S100 is just half the price of P21S. I used P21S eariler this year before I realized that it is the same as S100. When I run out of my P21S my next order will be the S100 line up instead. I used the GEPC with a polishing pad via PC to give it a "little" umph in cleaning and then applied the wax by hand.

LOL...not to side track this thread, but looking at my own pics that I posted, I noticed that my Driveway looks like it had a disease with all the grease/stains...mostly from orverspray of tire shine.

Thanks for the comments about my mom`s car. She doesnt drive it very much, maybe 3-4 times a week if that, so it sits in the garage a lot...Thought it would be the perfect candidate to use a "beauty" wax and not have to worry about durability.

01bluecls, thanks for the info. My driveway looks the same way, how do you remove these stains? :D I just took a second look at the hood in the third pic WOW! Nice reflection!

Scottwax, I was thinking about PwC, If I`m going to follow with a carnauba. I tested it on a small section by hand. It seemed to clean pretty well and also left a nice amount of protection behind. My car is white, and PwC-Natty`s is on my list to try. When would you find yourself using S100 SEC?

I read somewhere on here that CLR will take the stains out of the driveway...I guess I will have to give it a try since I have some in the garage already. My suggestion i guess for cleaning the stains with cleaner is to have a power washer at hand to make things a little easier.

cheapshot-I would find myself using S100 SEC if I was out of VM or PwC.

Why pay for p21s when s100 makes the same cleanser, for 2/3 the price? Nice pics!

I just called the Harley dealer about 15-20 minutes away, they said the S100 SEC is only $8.95 and they have it in stock, I didn`t ask how large, but I`massuming it`s at least 16oz.

Has anyone used the Pinnacle or Sonus cleansers? are they comparable to S100 SEC

Scottwax,

Would you use PWC with a Sealant other then EX? or mainly follow with a carnauba wax or both?

What do you like to follow VM with? What wouldn`t you use to follow VM?

Sorry for all the question I have both Pwc and VM, so i am looking for options. Thanks

Pinnacle PCL is pretty good. It`s quite easy to use. Not as smooth as AIO but fills in swirls. PPCL is a better base for Souveran wax over AIO in looks but only by the slightest of margins. PPCL gives the wettest look in my opinion for Souveran. AIO is smoother, glossier, wet-looking (not as wet as PPCL), and a better paint cleaner. I doubt that PPCL is better than S100 SEC in value, performance and ease of use.
