After seeing and hearing all the posts on here about Poorboys products i am thnking about picking some up....What would you recomend to replace or compliment #9, AIO/SG, #16?

#9 would be either SSR1 or 2, depending on how severe of marring you`re used to using #9 on.

AIO/SG would be PwC/EX or EX-P, depending on preference of look-"warm" or "clear".

#16 would be Natty`s Wax.

I should add that I have two cars, both dark reds that are fairly new and have the usual mionor swirling. Alsno note that I do everyhting by hand right now

The poorboy ssr line is the most user friendly pure polishes ive used so far. I dont think you can go wrong with them.

Of the 3 SSR which is the best one to have?

I elect either 2 or 2.5. They both break down pretty well but you are likely to need a finer polish with the 2.5. 2.5 has better swirl removing capability though.

Ive been using ssr 2.5 as my go to for medium swirl removal, followed my menzerna FP.

At the moment I like 2.5 better than DACP for swirl removal. But I haven`t tested 2.5 a whole lot (I had a sample). I`ll be ordering this spring.

I think 2.5 is one of the best products on the market!I really mean that. As for the PB line it speaks for itself. Every product he makes is a QUALITY product that works well, not to mention Steve is a Class act. don`t like the product get yourself a refund. Have a problem with the product he will e mail you within 1/2 day most times. Need I say more

Poorboy`s has EXCELLENT products. I do not think a line of products could be more user friendly, and the results are great.

Definitely 2.5...many of us bought SSR 1 & 2.5 together, but if you have a half dozen paint polishes/cleaners like I do then you could skip SSR 1...

In most cases you can go straight from SSR2.5 to a paint cleaner in prep for sealant or carnauba. I have noticed slight marring from it at times but overall, it breaks down to a fine enough polish that SSR1 is not needed.

Meguiar`s #9 would be similar to SSR2.

AIO/SG would be similar to using PWC, and then top it with EX-P.

Meguiar`s #16 would be similar to Natty`s wax.

I`ve used both SSR1 and 2, plus the Polish w/carnauba, EX w/carnauba, EX-P, Natty`s Paste and Spray and Wipe. All are quality products and work great!

BTW, my experience is that EX is a bit more durable than EX-P.
