Better wetter look

Hi,



This is my first post. My car is prepped with 2 coats of Autoglym EGP(24 hour wait between coats), the week before I had prepped the car with VM and then a coat of CMW . I wasnt to happy with the VM and CMW so I decided on trying EGP. What products could I use that are available in the UK to give a better wetter look?

I have the following items:-

AG SRP

AG EGP

VM & CMW

Megs Goldclass

Megs 3step

i use autoglym products too, i`m not sure what VM and CMW are, but to achieve the best look, i layer on a natural carnuba wax (such as mothers calfornia gold carnuba wax) ontop of EGP.



you`ve got a new car, so you should be right without using any polishes right now. enjoy the forum and enjoy your detailing.

I got a great wet look on a blue Tiburon a couple weeks ago with GEPC, EX-P, and #16 (24hrs later).

It doesn`t show much of the car, but you can see the wet look of the paint. Also note my neighbor`s dog posing for the photo through the paint. :)

I`ll have to get some more pictures of the car...the others I took didn`t turn out as well as I`d hoped. Maybe I`ll throw another coat of #16 on there and take some more pics. I don`t think she`d mind.
