what is the best way to get rid of tough stains. we dont have any machines for the carpets yet so the best way by hand. and what is the best product to use...i used oxi clean with a brush and rag and it turned out GREAT everywhere but where this stupid stain was. the stain was red cool-aid and i would guess it was sitting there for a year probally untouched. i tried a bunch of stain removers that i had laying around the house but it barely fased it.

Thanks

I have had great success with both the Eimann Fabrik carpet and upholstery cleaner and the spot remover, reasonable price too. Or think about getting a bissell LGCM mini-steamer for ~90.

I like to use Prestone foam carpet cleaner. Its the one in the red can with the scrubber on top.

pappy i think red stains are the hardest to get out, i used seans oxy mix along with Folex spot remover on some tea and cokes stains in a blazer i just did, it worked awesome, folex is available at walmart, target and i am sure other places i was totally amazed at this product

Try reading this thread and see if it helps. CharlesW mentions a product for removing red stains and gives a link I think. Pretty good read. Hope it helps!

scottlee I`ve bookmarked that link and will try that product out on our carpets in the house. I`ve got 4 grandkids, and even though I tell them a million times not to, they carry red juice all over the house - and spill it. I might even bend down and try a spot or three myself. Then my stepdaughter can clean the rest of them since her kids made them! :ticked
