What should I do to protect a new stainless steel muffler before I install it so it will be easier to clean and all the soot wont stick to it. What will take the temp.

AutoSol is a metal polish, i use it for my exhust, protects and makes VERY shiny! :D

down here in Aus you can get it anywhere, Big W, which is like your walmart sell it. you should be able to get it over there.
