LSP applicators

What do you guys use to apply LSP`s? I`ve been using a TW foam applicator because it was all I have had on hand, but it sucks.

I use nice Pakshak mf pads for applying both the Klasse twins and Souveran

Klasse, UPP, and Zaino are the only LSP`s I use with an MF applicator.

All other are applied via circular foam applicator.

When you need more of those GC applicators, it appears they aren`t going to be sold in the baggies any more so I guess we ought to wash them first before use all the time now like mfs too

I use Meguiar`s foam applicators for most waxes and sealants ... Available on their website under the "professional" section.
W-0004-12 ....................12 pads ... $5.88
for AIO, I use a terry applicator (Wal-Mart)
I just tried Adam`s MF applicators on AIO and Butter Wax and they worked really well and cleaned up very easily.

The Meg`s foam applicators work pretty good and I have a lot of them. I also have several that I picked up at a "Big Lots" store after being told about them by Nick. They also seem to work OK.
The Viking "Sure Grip" is another very good one. It is the one that has a foam doorknob shape on one side that you can really get a good grip on. I think I found mine at Auto-Zone.

I use the Megs foam pads for basically everything. Easy to obtain. For AIO and like wise products I use terry applicators.

I love using the mf pads, but i find that they can be a little
prblematic with sealers, specifically KSG. I knew for sure that
KSG was leaving something behind on my paint, because I
could see little particles of the pad suspended in the sealant.

So for me, it`s foam for the sealers, and mf for the carnuaba.
My favorites are the Handi-Grip Foam Applicators from Autopia,
and the mf pads from Turtle wax.

I`m a big fan of the PB PVA Lifetime sponges. They work very well with sealers in terms of laying down a nice even thin layer.

I also have a hand grip style foam applicator that has a microfinger pad on it. I`m pretty sure it`s something from zymol. It works well too.

My neighbor uses his PC with a microfinger pad. It`s quick and effective.

How`s that for choice!

I use to buy soft foam and make my own applicators but now on the market from various companies is this HANDI GRIP APPLICATOR.This product in my opinion is easy to work with gives you something to hold on to and the part that touches the car is very smooth and easy to wash.All this for $2.50.I use this so when I wax I can put pressure on the vehicle and the wax can get deep down

Funny how experiences differ, for me I won`t use anything but mf pads. No issues at all using them with SG

Actually, when I bought my first set of pads from Autopia, I would give
them a quick rinse, and then use them. But using the moist pads with KSG
did not work well for me, and I found that they would leave small strands
of fabric on the paint.

So then I would just toss the pads in the wash with my mf towels, and
let them air dry. Maybe it was something that I did wrong, or just the
fact that the pads were "interacting" with the towels, but when I would
use them they actually would leave very small pieces of fabric on the
paint. Problem was that I would not see the suspended fabric until after
the sealer dried. Not a big deal on light or gray/ silver/ metallics, but on
dark solids or metallics, I could see them. And I would only see them if I
used KSG, and EX-P to a much lesser extent.

I`ve never seen this happen with the paste wax like #16. 26, and maybe
one time with CMW. However I never had any issues with the Handi-Grips
applying sealants, so I usually stick with those. in fact, i need to order some
more for in another few days. I find these do last a very long time, and
prefer these for use over almost everything else I have, including the yellow
foam pads. As for the terry or mf pads, I just keep it simple now and just
buy the packs available at Strauss. They don`t cost much, so I just use
one pad per car, and then toss it when I` done.
