We have a 03 Jetta that was hacked pretty bad via the dealer detailers.

I have been using my PC with various Lake County pads (Orange to Black) with Mequires Swirl remover to Glaze etc.

The damage I am trying to remove is 2 fold. It looks as if they started buffing it with a runny compound and did not clean it off. It is a black car and the sun is pretty intense here. There are run marks down the sides of the car.

Also the clear in several places is hazed. The swirl remover has helped but I suspect I need something slightly more agressive.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in Advance

You may want to try a cleaner like Klasse AIO or Meg`s ColorX to see if that will remove the compound residue.

If that doesn`t remove it, or if there is still some hazing (and you want to stick with Meg`s products) you can try #80 first and if that isn`t agressive enough you can step up to DACP (#83). If you do use #83, you might need to follow up with #80 to remove any slight hazing #83 may create.
