Hi everyone,

Ive been using Meguairs consumer products for a couple of years now and I`m impressed.

I recently got hold of megs #16 and that is so much better.

I`ve been reading all the posts and different products that everyone uses, and I`m putting a PC down on my Christmas list too.

I have a pale green Subaru Impreza Wagon look

Whats the best use of the products I already have?

GC shampoo

#66 and clay

CCBC

DC 2

GC Wax

NXT wax

#16

Until I get a PC, it will all be applied by hand.

Any starter tips would be great.

Cheers

Mark

Welcome to Autopia :xyxthumbs

I cannot help with the Meguairs consumer range but the principles are the same for most products. Put you effort into the cleaning and removal of paint defects such as swirls, as this will always give a better shine.

If I was getting a PC at Christmas, I would wash, clay, use a basic polish and then add #16 and then wait for the PC.

I highly recommend downloading the Autopia book.

Cheers,

I will do,

Any tips for using the #80 range with a PC?

I`m just going to use up what I have 1st and then start to try out vm, 1z and AIO etc and see how I get on later.

I would say take your time with any polish and dont worry if it takes a few goes to make a big difference. Also dont forget, you can never have enough MF towels.
