Swissol, Zymol, Turtle wax and Rain-X

Is there any connection among these brands? I heard they belonged to the same group, any true about this? Any proofs?

If you go to www.Zymol.com you may still be able to read up on these companies` relationships.

Last I read, Turtle wax had done a dastardly deed to Zymol. TW was the licencee of Zymol for the cleaner wax found at `marts and parts stores. Zymol was never going to deal with such nefarious types again.

They had now retracted anything that was said of a derogatory nature. (?)



Swissol owner was once a distributor for Zymol. Started selling "knockoffs." Zymol was upset. Told them to knock it off. Courts were involved.



This is just what I recall, and paraphrased. You can check the site for specifics.



Last I heard about Rain-x, it was owned by Pennzoil/Quaker State.
