1. You prefer to dry off after a shower with a waffle weave towel.

2. You are actually looking forward to winter so you can try QEW.

3. You do all your shopping on line.

4. You have tried more than 10 waxes in the last six months.

5. Your expenditures on detailing supplies exceeds the GDP of several third world countries.

6. Your favorite day of the week is when either Scottwax or GSRStilez posts their latest detailing pics.

7. You spend more to decorate the garage than your living room.

8. You automatically think of a rotary polisher when your wife says the Corian in the kitchen needs polished.

9. When friends say you need more MF you are not offended.

10. ???

Help me finish the list with your favorites. :)

You wash your car(s) knowing full well it will rain in a matter of hours.

You never really can assess durability of a product because you are always trying something new.

You suddenly take an interest in laundry due to the responsibility of caring for a fortune in microfiber.

You offer to detail the neigbor`s car because it clearly is suffering and you perceive this a humanitarian act.

You visit autopia.org more than once a day.

You wish there was an organization to report car abuse/neglect to.

"You suddenly take an interest in laundry due to the responsibility of caring for a fortune in microfiber."

This hits close to home. :)

"You wish there was an organization to report car abuse/neglect to."

How true....shouldn`t there be one?

Here`s one more:

You might be an Autopian if...

You find yourself sending small packages of chemicals to strangers through the mail.

You find various uses for car detailing products around the house:

Zaino Z2 on the kitchen cabinets

Castrol Super Clean on soap scum in the bathroom

Menzerna IP to buff out stains on a worktop that will not clean

Megs Hotshine on the vinyl window shutters to bring out the color

I think I have the Autopia bug .... BAD! :o :lol :lol :lol

If your friend knows you bought something or are receiving something when you say "supplies"

You buy products so you can try them on friends cars.

Your neighbors say, "Oh, you`re washing your car again?"

Your neighbors ask, "Are you a professional detailer?" or "How much would you charge to do my car?"

You spend more time detailing your car than you do driving it.

Great post Lee!

"You spend more time detailing your car than you do driving it."

I resemble that remark.

"Your neighbors say, "Oh, you`re washing your car again?"

Happens every couple of days.

You persuade your girlfriend that the latest bottle of SSR3 to arrive at the house, is really the latest exfoliating foot scrub you purchased as a surprise gift for her!

(please do not try this yourself!)

You have special detergent(s) for washing your microfiber towels.

You have to rearrange your storage space every time a new batch of detailing products arrives.

You are a hobbyist and your monthly detailing expenditure is more than some families food budgets.

hahaha.. this is great because my friend laughed at me this weekend for saying that Sparks was much more "abrassive" than a "Rockstar" evergy drink. He was like "wow, you even compare your drinks to detailing."
