I have been using VM, AIO, PwC in the past. But now I am getting curious about Menzerna, Pinnacle and some like those. But with Menzerna I have been hearing that it works best with a rotary, I don`t know if I am ready for a rotary just yet. I am open to all suggestion for a new paint polish. I just want to try something new.

The 2 I used and like very much were TROPIC CARE and PB2.5 both I worked with and had excellent results

I also agree with ALAN81, Tropi-Care Premium Car Polish is some very nice stuff.

I really like the 3M line. PI III RC (rubbing compound) and PI III MG (machine glaze) are very easy to use and contain no fillers. The RC is about as agressive as DACP and SSR2.5. While MG is about like Meg`s #80, and leaves a very nice finish.

The 3M products can be bought on-line or at a local parts store that carries auto paint.

3M PI-III RC and MG and the 1Z polishes are both very much worth a looking at, I`ve yet to hear anything bad about either.

On light cleaning the new Sonus paint cleaner is interesting and Dookie and others liked it when they tested it. I`m not sure but DavidB may still be giving our bottles of this free. Use search and check it out.

I`m also trying to decide on what line to use.

3M sounds great, but they are more than 2X as expensive as Meg`s Pro. line. I`ll pick up some PB polishes for use when customers don`t have a garage/shade, and EX/EX-P to seal over most vehicles.

Of course, there is always the small collection of #26, Zaino, NXT and various other wax/sealants I`ve collected since my time at Autopia began which I`ll experiment with.:bounce (excited to start next season already!)

Darn snow :(

Try 3M FCRC followed with 3M PI III MG by way of cutting pad and polishing pad, respectively....damn :up

The menzerna car care kit is a killer! The only thing missing is a bottle of IP (but not needed if you don`t have the swirls).

For PC, I`d stick with Poorboy`s for an extremely easy product to work with. SSR 2.5 and SSR1 would be a nice combo.

For Menzerna, MP (FP2) and IP would work best via rotary, but would also work for PC. Definately tougher to use than PB`s though.

Does Menzerna FP II have any abrasives? I am looking for a pure paint polish, no abrasives at all, if possible!! Is that possible?

From my use the FPII has Very little abbrasives....it wont remove much swirls, it does pretty good with micromarring from a previous polish such as IP. FPII is mainly to burnish the paint to bring out the color. IP vs SSR2.5, I prefer the SSR2.5 via PC, seems much easier to use with almost exact same results.
