I`m a new owner of a blk 99 L.

I bought the zaino kit as it was the only thing that I had heard about that was worth the try. Then I was told about this site.

I went thru the zaino steps.

dawn wash/clay bar/z-car wash/z-5+z-2/gloss spray/z-5+z-2 (coat 2)/gloss spray. I spend hours doing this.

In the end it was very shiny but I was not 100% satisfied. I don`t think it was the zaino. I think it was my washing skills.

My truck has A LOT of cobwebs and scratches that are easy to see.

Is it possible to make my trucks paint look as good or better then an 04/05 truck paint with repainting?

I can provide pics if needed.

If it is possible, I want to know what products, complete list, I need...Right down to the wash mitt or sponge or towel or what.

I`m sure this is asked too often. Sorry.

You can make it look like an 04. Just read the articles.

heh heh, just to make it a little easier to read the articles, read this one first washing (http://www.bettercarcare.com/articles.php?articleId=9)

then this one on polishing (http://www.bettercarcare.com/articles.php?articleId=17) or this one on removing swirls (http://www.bettercarcare.com/articles.php?articleId=15)

then do the zaino process. :)

995.4, the prior posts point you in the right direction. Try to get your head around that there is no list of best products. We all have our favorites. And that list of favorites change as new products are available or our wallet permits us to try a few new ones. Preparation is the key to using Zaino! Zaino will seal (very well I might add) whatever is under it! So, get the surface exactly how you want BEFORE topping it with the Z. And, as always, proper wash and maintenance technique is critical to durability.
