I presently do not use a sealant glaze, after polishing I go straight to waxing. Is there any advantage to using a sealant glaze? Does it make the paint look better in any way or give better protection?

1. Longer Protection.

2. Different look

I do this in the summer....SMR followed by carnauba, nice and easy, but in the summer I also am able to detail virtually anyday I want. In the fall I use a SMR w/PC followed by sealant, and then add a layer of sealant at least 1x a week until the snow flies....like Paco said, longer protection.

I agree. It`s always better to use a sealant prior to the extremes of winter weather. Especially when you consider that it may be a longer period of time before your car will be detailed again.
