Here are some pics of a Toyota Avalon that was detaled today. The car was detailed like once in the past so the exterior was pretty dirty, but the pics don`t do that much justice I don`t think of displaying the dirt.

My process was as follows for the exterior:

Wash

Clay

DACP (started using rotary then went to cyclo with yellow pads (very rough)

AIO

FMJ

I would of done more steps because I would of liked it to look better I guess....who knows. I spent about 7 hrs on this car between me and my friend. I think that seems kind of long. I was also having a problem with the DACP considering it was the first time I was using it. I was having a terrible time trying to buff it off.......what a pain in the A$$. I don`t think I worked it long enough or was using too much product considering I was doing a cross thatch method with the cyclo, but some spots didn`t even want to buff off no matter how much water or final detail I used. I think this product is meant to use with rotary as it can break it down better than a cyclo. Any comments are welcome.

Anyway here are the pics.......I hope it works cause its my first time posting........cause i finally remembered the camera....lol

I guess the pic would help in that last post.......is there an easier way to do this.....very tedious....kind of like detailing (the pics that is)

Good job on the toyota. Very nice reflections. Reminds me of an Altima I did a couple of weeks ago.

In the after trunk shot - do I see cobwebs?
