CharlesW....I would agree with that completely! That is the nice thing about the Lake Country pads (hopefully Dwayne will be getting them in soon). On the Lake Country VC pads, the backing plate sits recessed into the back of the pad a bit and is surrounded by the foam pad all around. Very nice! With those pads you can push the pad up into crevices (like around mirrors) without worrying about the backing plate hitting anything. Plus, since they are an inch larger than the Megs they help you get done a tad faster.
Still, the Meg`s pads have served me very very well. They are inexpensive and seem to be indistructable.
