Hi,

I just became a member as I bought a new 350Z Black. Wanted to make sure I did everything right. Thanks everyone. I learned a lot.

The Z is my weekend car and I have a 2001 Maxima that is my daily driver. I spend a lot of time on the Z and just don`t have time for the Maxima. I hope this is ok to post...The reason for my post is that I`m looking for a top notch detailer in Rhode Island to do my Maxima. I have had the car for 3 years and it has been hand waxed by a local detailer one a month religiously.

But after spending some time on this site, I talked to him about buffing/polishing and I`ve really inspected his work. I realize that he isn`t really familiar with the techniques and products that you all use on this site.

So I`d like to find someone to do a full detail and really bring out the beauty of the car. Anyone interested???

Do it yourself, cmon, you know you want too ;)

Don`t know of anyone that could help you out right now actually, though I think at a printing shop that I use for shipping stuff via UPS, a detailing place has their business card, I`ll check it out for you and let you know.

Maybe we can get some people together and all hang out and share tips and stuff one weekend soon and get some help from each other, I know that I would be up for it.

I live in Bristol, whereabouts are you?

If only you had posted this offer 2 years ago.. I could`ve used a part time job while at Brown :)

Where is RI do you live? I know a guy up in the Bellingham, MA area who does good work. I had him do my cars a couple of times before I headed out for the IASCA finals a few years back.

Check out Executive Auto Detailing. The guy`s name is Russ Picard and he is located at 621 Pond Street, Woonsocket. Phone: 762-3300. Give him a whirl.

A good professional detail supplier is KAM Enterprises in Johnston. They serve alot of the detailers in the area. They could give you some leads of good detailers in the area.

I`ll do it on a weekend with my PC :)

I use Klasse & top with either S100 or Meg #16

Hmm, I might take you up on that Bass, if you could go about getting some scratches/swirls out of course :)

I could always start with some clay and then some DACP ;)

Unsane Pyro,

No one in RI. But I haven`t contacted that KAM Enterprise in Johnston yet that Demon Detailer suggested.

I saw the business card today for a place in Bristol I believe, that says they do classic car repair/detailing. Next time I go I`ll write down some info for you if you would like.
