Just went into the Meguiars UK forum for the first time in months and saw this.

I`d be interested to hear other people`s thoughts on the "polish your car in 30 minutes" idea......given that after many, many hours with a PC i still have a way to go - a long way to go!



It`s sadder still that this is seen as worthy of a sticky no less on a detailing co`s forum but there you are.

I think the 30 minute time estimate is wishful thinking, especially if you plan to mask trim and windows first and really do a flawless job. However, as far as it being a "sticky" on the forum, I think it is a relatively good introduction to the purpose, selection, and facilitation of detailing machines for the average car owner in the UK. It also puts a bunch of informational resources in a single place, making it an easy reference probably worthy of a "sticky."

Fair point indeed but I felt that there were too many inaccuracies to make it worthy of a sticky and a cordless buffer is no way going to give you anywhere near the same results as a PC or rotary.
