I recently purchased a PC and have tried MIP and MFP on an 89 Volvo to remove some medium oxidation without much success.

Was wondering if there is a better product to use.

I used organge Sonus pad with the MIP folloowed by the Grey pad with MFP. results were definately better but still a lot of visible oxidation left.

Any successful suggestions regarding similar situations would be appreciated ...

I was leaning towards trying a 3m product like Perfect it III but due to cost would like to hear what everyone else thinks ...

Thanks

Tom

I have had success with 1Z Ultra Paint Polish with a yellow pad. Easy to use. Follow UPP with Paint Polish on a white pad to remove micromarring. Klasse AIO also works. Good luck.

I agree, 1ZUPP with a cutting pad, 1ZPP with a polishing pad, 1ZMP with a finishing pad. At this point you can top it with carnauba or use AIO + your favorite sealant both applied with a finishing pad or by hand.

Meguiars DACP was excellent to remove Oxidation on my car. I`ve also enjoyed the 3M`s oxidation removal products on a tough vehicle.
