I have a dark metallic Purple (Black Rose) 1994 Corvette with original paint. The last owner didn`t seem to believe in waxing the car. Under flourecent light I can see the water spots. In sunlight they are very hard to see.

I have tried vinager, 3M SSR 39009, Scratch X, using a Porter Cable. Still there ??

What might be the next best thing to try?

Is there something a bit more agressive to try??

I`d probably reach for #80 Speed Glaze or #83 Dual Action Cleaner/Polish with the PC and a polishing pad.

Dumb question but who makes these products ??

Where are they usually found?

Meguiar`s is the manufacturer. Products can usually be found at a good NAPA or an auto paint supplier. Or try here. (http://www.meguiars.com/DealerLocator/DealerLocator_template.cfm)

You can also buy direct from Meguiar`s Web site here. (http://www.meguiars.com/store_meguiars/nf_index_pro.cfm)
