Hello, how in the world do you polish right up next to trimming and where panels meet etc? I have a 1/8 to 1/4 inch unpolished area right up next to most of my trim. How can this be polished/waxed etc?

The only souloution I could come up with is masking tape, a bit time consuming though.

I hope others jump in with a quicker method !

masking tape is your best bet.

Working by hand, I can usually get right up beside trim. I`ll sometimes use a piece of thin, coated cardboard (like the stuff that comes in packages of women`s pantyhose) as a shield, holding it up against the trim. Otherwise, use the masking tape or use products that don`t stain trim.
