View Full Version : RIWAX`s diminishing abrasives

Yesterday I got tiny samples from Riwax. It is a Swiss brand, and unlike Zymöl & Swissol (aka Swizöl), they are focusing mainly on the Body Shop Pro customers, but they have industrial carwash products too.

They work fast, well, and even the grittier ones (think of SSR 3, Heavy Cut, DACP) leave a ready-to-wax-finish. It can be still improved with their hologram paste (wonderfully smooth, creamy lotion), and the Poly-Finish (same carrier cream as the HP, with abrasives). They have a mecha-chemi acidic cleaner, which works well too.

They smell solventy, but after the solvent has escaped, it has a pleasant smell.

I wanna use their Polishing Pastes (white & black for light & dark), which seem good. They contain absolutely no fillers and concealers - but their abrasives break down mainly mechanically, not temperature sensitively. What is the difference? Which abrasives break down finer? (I know how it works but I have no experience with it.)

Any experiences with mainly mechanical abrasives?
