I went into the napa by my house yesterday and they have a whole display of 3m products, paste wax in a tub, finesse it II, even a 3m car shampoo ( i didnt even know they made that) all kinds of stuff.. what would be good to pick up? they even have the waffle pads. i think they pretty much have everything. they also have alot of Meguiars too.. no PC pads tho..

I personally like their sm. I noticed that they are starting to carry more 3M products than they used to.

Just for kicks I asked them for a price for the clay bar kit...$17.00 plus tax with a dealership discount...I nearly crapped my pants...

The Perfect It III collection :up

Try to see if they have: http://www21.3m.com/dr/v2/ec_MAIN.Entry10?V1=362793&PN=1&SP=10023&xid=37991&CID=0&DSP=&CUR=840&PGRP=0&CACHE_ID=0

I`m very curious to see if this stuff compares to Engine Kote a product discontinued by Meguiars.

A little off topic, but it`s been bugging me for a while because i don`t know why. Why was Engine kote discontinued? Was there an issue with it being too strong/unsafe or did Meguiar`s just not see the need for it anymore?

Thanks..

I think it was one of the Detailer line that was discontinued, not due to VOC restrictions, but poor sales :nixweiss. I was told by a Megs rep we could always petition to bring some dicontinued products back

I think Pep Boys also carries a bunch of 3M products. 3M even makes a quick detailer.

I love their Fine Cut Rubbing Compound.

They have a company website where you get free shipping, if I remember correctly.

That`s the only place I`ve been able to find 3M SMR for LIGHT cars locally. I get most of my 3M stuff from them. :up
