Im sorry about not having any before pics. My comp was down for a couple weeks and my digi doenst have much space on the memory.

The first detai was the worst detail I have ever seen, as well as one of the worst my partner Brian has ever seen. It has never been washed and just was so trashed that I was worried how it would turn out.

We actually had to degrease the vehcile in a safe manor, 2 washes, alot of clay, vm,cm wax to top it off. Brian is one of the best rotary men you will ever meet. He doesnt ever sling the product so no toweling is need anywhere/paper over window,he never EVER burned paint so no taping is needed when he buffs. We did this vehicle in 1 hour 30 mintues flat what a detail!! We are the best working team around in our area and people are sure loving our results. Customer was nice enough to drop a 30 dollar tip on this detail.

My high end client who owns a 04 vette, trailblazer and this avalanche, and soon to be another vette asked me to do a detail on this vehicle. Longest detail of my life just toping out under 10 hours. The inside was a mess from the young son, the outside needed pb ssr 2.5@2 by pc at 6 orange pad. Some poorboys polish and wax to top it off. Some wetsanding was done by the drivers door handle and the hood was buffed with the rotary as well.

Next is my other high end client with all black vehicles such as a navigator, 05 f150, 04 explorer and more to come. They also got the full detail package with ssr 2.5, vm and ntx wax.

The prelude was the worst of the worst but i have no before pics. Well maybe i do somewhere around here, ill have to look. Anyways it needed ssr 2.5 2-3 on different panels, rotarty on hood, poorboys polish and wax.

enjoy those pics. oh yeah and sorry for the pics i suck at taking pictures.

Holy **** less then 2 hours? How do you clean up the car and polish / wax it so fast? Following up right after wax? Fast polishing with a rotary? What kinda soap / technique for the dirt? I`ve encountered that and its just ridiculous sometimes

haha when we were done and packing everything up we didnt think anyone would believe when we posted this..but its true under 2 hours.. We may be young but we each both have tons of experience and have been doing this longer then most shops around and maybe longer then a lot of people on these forums...so when you stick two detailers together who have tons of experience together everything just flows. We dont have to tell each other what to do..or what to use we just make a great team. This is why when we expand the buisness it will be hard for us to hire more employees we need to make sure they can work just as well to keep our rep up. Since rich(quamen) looked over the car before the detail and I didnt see it till we got on site he worked up our game plan so i`ll let him explain the soaps our approace etc for you.

I really dont understand myself how we got it done that fast. Brian is one of the best detailers in our area and is fast and very critical. It scared me yesterday to his attention of detail when he said where is the spray can. He wanted to detail the inside of the wheel well and paint them! Everytime he does a detail I have to watch that he is not jacking up the vehicle on our high end cars to clean the inside of the wheels!

I saw the car before hand on my way home she called me. It was owned by her grandmother who is I assume very old and she never washed the car. When I saw the vehicle I really never have seen a more dirty vehicle. I didnt know what is was on the paint, but I almost was going to say I cant help you. A call to Brian who has seen the worst of the worst and polished some really high end cars, I knew we both could figure something out.

We show up and his draw drops as well, and he was like this isnt as bad as the vette I did though which was a relief to me. We started pressure washing it down, and there was stuff coming from every crack and crevice tons of dirt I was amazed!. The dirt on the paint wasnt moving at all, so we decided to use a safe degreasing method. One area a time with a medium strength degreaser and some terry towels with the surface STAYING REALLY WET TO NOT LET IT SET!

WE then did one seciton and washed if off right away and then moved to the next. Then we used a palmolive dishwashing soap for our next step. After that we are really fast at claying and was able to get that thing baby smooth after about 10 mintues the whole vehicle. Moving the clay up and down side to side with the palmolive soap as our lube.

I looked at the surface which was dull now and I said vm,cmw. Brian always gets carried away and decided to pull out the rotary with some DACP. This kid is a perfectionist! I am as well, but he goes beyond the way of detailing with the smallest details you wouldnt think of such as the undercarriage of the car, the inside of wheels as I mentioned, and right dow the pinchwall on the underside etc. Im so glad we wear the same shirt and he isnt my competition!

So hector had some fun at 1500 RPM with a Mild pad and dacp. I then applied VM at the speed of 6 on the pc with moderate pressure with a medium pad while Brian removed it. Next we both waxed by hand on the same side panels side by side. Then we removed it by seperating the car in half. A car that I thought would take us about 4 hours to complete took only 1 hr 30 minutes and I couldnt believe it nor the owner either.

We also detailed the door jams, taillights, cleaned both inside and outside windows and dressed the small plactic trim molding. We had the car in the perfect spot in the shade and it was the perfect day out in the mid 70`s. I give Brian tons of credit cause it scares me of how much I learn from someone who I have a couple years more on. I have been detailing god for about 6 years plus now and I still learn alot from him. I thought I learned everything from working at the BMW dealership detailing high end cars in Jersey. Were the best team in the area and we have all the high end accounts or most at least in our area.

This car was very odd as well since most of the customers all have newer 04-05 vehicles such as Navigators, Vettes, Big suvs, show cars that all range with the low end 35k. We love to do all vehciles new, old, expensive, cheap, trashed, cleaned, and it just shows by our work we put our heart into every detail no matter who the customer is or what kind of vehicle it is. This is the service that Rich`s Mobile Auto Detailing is dedicated to provide which will hopefully lead to the bigger and better things such as a product line which will be made, a small training facility and numerous vehicles god willing in the future. I still attend college and im currently finishing up my BA degree soon, but still there is alot planned for the detailing other than just extra money. I picture it was something that can grow into something similiar such as Detail King,Right Look etc.

Thanks,

Rich
