Has anybody ever try this polisher? It has been my first and only polisher. I have used it to apply glazes and coumpounds(mainly the 3m perfect it line,05936,05933,05941,05937). The only bad thing that it has an arbor size 1/2" 20 thread, but i have since modified it to 5/8 11.

The reason i like it so much is that it has two speed settings that are low enough(max speed 1650rpm) not to burn any paints.

Welcome to Autopia!

I have one that is similar only the brand name is JC Penny, bought it years ago. I also have an old, old Sioux polisher but it is so heavy it kills my back so I usually grab the lighter JC Penny. I like the 2 speed feature also. Overall it seems to do an adequate job for the price. Use mine mostly for polishes and SMR but have used it for compounding.
