I have a 1997 trans am with a new paint job.

It is a Pure white basecoat, Blue pearl mid, then clear coat final.

I just finished the FK1 4 step deconatim process. I am about to do Vanilla Moose with my Porter Cable, then 2 layers of EX-P.

But then im stumped on which WAX I want to buy.

I currently own FK1 Pink Wax ( excellent ) and S100 Pure Carnauba (Very nice but not very durable ) but I want to try one of the PINNACLE WAXES.

P sig series says its great for metalic paints, and the Glaz is good for light colored paints. MY car is kind of both with the pearl in it.

Which Wax should I buy ???? My friend MATT says to just get Natty`s Paste wax. I need an Experts opinion !!! I want to bring out the PEARL glimmer in my paint. As you can see from the picture on my site my paint looks great but the pearl still seems masked. Help me get it to SHOW !!!!

Pics of my car are below if you want to see the paint.

I have all of the Pinnacle waxes and I really like them. There is no discernible difference between Sig and PG, IMO.

I was just faced with this exact delimma. I was buying specifically for use as a topper on a Reflex Silver (metal flake) VW NB. After reading the descriptions you described, I decided to call for an opinion. The AutoGeek rep said Signature "hands down".

NozeBleedSpeed says no discernable difference :( I should have asked here first and saved $10. Come on NozeBleed, change your story and make me feel better :D

NBS what you said hit the nail on the head UNLESS you are a EXPERT I doubt you can tell the difference between the two BUT if you ADD SOUVERN to the mix it all changes

I don`t know if this is helpful, but I contacted Scottwax and he suggested to go with Paste Glaz as the best Pinnacle on silver. I then purchased the Glaz and it looks great on the Millenium Silver.

Souveran only makes sense for darker colors. Otherwise I think even Pinnacle suggests that Paste Glaz is the better wax and also better than Signature.

I am buying Souveran for use on two friend`s cars - a dark green Rover and a black Pontiac.

Autgeek is having a sale by the way...

The exact reason why I keep debating if I should buy BOTH just to test them out.

Here`s a different angle...Pinnacle Signature topping AIO.

Edit: This is as wet as I`ve seen silver in pictures.

:nono

The AutoGeek rep said Signature "hands down". At least that was the opinion as of last Friday.

I used Signature yesterday. Today, even though it has been very overcast, two neighbors with silver cars have stopped by to see what I would charge to do theirs. Another neighbor that put P21S on his silver Boxster Friday tried to convince me to trade him my Signature for his P21S...I kindly referred him to Autogeek and Autopia.

I`d really like to see the Signature topping EX-P topping VM or AIO...probably around Halloween my wish will come true...I`ll remove the Signature with AIO then apply EX-P x2, and then a coat or two of Signature.

For light silver I am absolutely sold on Signature...since we are both in the Atlanta area it would be cool to compare mine against SilverLexus` just to see how much difference if any we can tell...I`m sure our prep work was different, and that will matter more than any LSP, but it would still be cool. I`m always willing to learn.

It would be really neat to do the hood half & half and see which one you like better. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The rest of us are just expressing opinions.

mtodde nice to see you picked up a wet looking carnauba topper. Still trying to decide whether I like Pizzazz or not, but it definitely give it a different look. I def need to get out more

A lot of people say Pizazz is the same a Signature...and that Trade Secret is Souveran; I don`t know if that`s true or not. I thought long & hard about Pizazz vs. Signature vs. Natty`s...then I saw the Pinnacle Swirl Removal offer from Autogeek...when I called and they say I`d get free shipping if I ordered anything else, I couldn`t stop myself from ordering the Signature kit.

I could not believe how easy it was to apply and how much it popped when I took it off. Weather permitting I`ll put on a second coat this coming weekend and let it sit for about 6 weeks before winterizing. Someone come shoot me if I mess with it before then, LOL!
