Fellas? Dont forget about the ladies. We actually have that one and the only thing I dont like it is surprisingly heavy. The speed is fine though

Today I bought a Sears wet/dry vac w/detachable blower.

This thing boasts a 265 MPH wind speed. It is 6.5HP vacuum too. I just got it today so while I tried the blower function I haven`t yet used it to dry a car. But this thing is pretty awesome. Check it out.

Go to www.detailplus.com and click on AIR WAND and click on the video clip.

This is a really cool device and I really urge anyone who hand washes cars to look at it and how fast it "strips" the water off the car.

I have a Stihl BR420C backpack blower which I`ve used a couple times to blow out water from seams and such. Kind of a PITA to use IMO but it does do the job. For me its just as easy to take the truck for a spin around the block; does the same thing.

I always thought that risks too much picking up dirt and other abrasive particulates but if it works for you ...

I have a gas powered unit and it routes a portion of the oily exhaust gas thru the air nozzle. You wouldn`t have this concern with a electric unit.

About the only time I blow out the water is when I`m doing a full detail. Usually water leaks don`t bother me unless I`m polishing.

Does anyone know if these cheap electric ones are worth $20?

It doesn`t show MPH, but I`m sure it doesn`t take much to blow off water right??
