I have after marketr rims on my car The finish has a clearcoat on it which has failed due to rim cleaners and weather. I want to sand the finish off what kind of paper should I use. what grit I really not worried about messing them up because the already look bad. All I want to do is the outer ring which is aluminum. I figure I`d wet sand with 2000 the 2500 then 3000 after that I will polish them does that sound right
