Hey all,

I currently am using Zaino Z-16 perfect tire gloss as a topcoat on the dash of my transam. I usually just wipe down the dash and then apply a small amount of Z-16 for UV protection. It works well and is fairly non-glossy, but it does leave a little bit of a sheen.

What product would leave absolutely no sheen, just a nice rich black? I ask because in Transams, the windshield has such a big rake that if the dash is shiney at all, there is a huge reflection in the windshield.

Thanks for any advice,

Russell

303 Aerospace protectant. Can be found at one of the online vendors in the upper right hand corner. Great stuff. You control the "sheen" by the amount you use. Gives me a great matte finish on my dash.

cockpit premium is the only product that leaves a matte finish on my dash; even poorboy`s natural look comes out shiny

I like Poorboys Natural look. For me it`s not shiney. I apply a small amount then buff it. Comes out like the name, "Natural Look"

I loved it everywhere but the top of the dash...don`t know why that area is so glossy...NL normally is pretty matte. You really can`t buff the dash without streaking; the only thing that works is to use a damp mf the next day so I`m sticking to the Cockpit Premium there & the NL on my doors & console. NL also looks great on my tires!

I haven`t tried NL on any tires yet, and I plan on ordering some 303 next time I place an on-line order.

Thanks for all of the recommendations!

Sounds like there are a number of good dash products. I`ll see if I can find any of these local to give them a try. If not, I guess I`ll be ordering some online.

It sounds like some people have had difficulty with PB and VinylX being somewhat shiny and occasionally streaky. Has anyone had difficulty with 303 being to shiny? I really can`t have any shine at all.

Thanks for the welcome and all the responses!
