Here`s a shot of my trunk lid with the clouds reflecting nicely.

I only had time to do the one area, but so far I like this combo. I have some EX-P and Pro Polish to try out next.

Wash

Clay

SSR2 w/ Sonus Green pad

Pwc w/ Sonus Blue pad

Nattys paste by hand

I was pleased with the results, but was expecting more depth. Any recomendations of how to get a deeper, wetter look?

Looks good. There is plenty of depth there.

Agreed!

I have found Natty`s to help that aspect verrrrry much.

Nice Clear look to it. I like that for blue colors.

Thanks for the compliments. It`s been raining, but if it stops this afternoon, I plan to do the hood and use EX-P and either Nattys or #16.

Should I be using something between the SSR2 and PwC/EX-P? The finish didn`t look dull at all after SSR2 so I went straight to PwC.

If the finish does not look dull after you use SSR2 or 2.5 then there is no need for a finer polish. Go straight your LSP.

How do you like the sonus pads?

Well, I just finished claying and applying SSR2 to the roof. I did the front fender with SSR2, Poorboys Professional Polish, and topped it with #16. It looks really nice. Too dark for any good pics.I`ll post a few later.

On the Sonus Pads: I like them a lot! The green pad is agressive enough for light swirl removal and the blue is great for 2nd step polishes. They are MUCH better than the ones I got with my PC package from DP several months ago. The thing I like about the Sonus pads is that the velcro backing extends past the backing plate. I don`t see any way for the edge of the backing plate to cut into the foam! :up

If I could make one suggestion. I would put a coat of EX-P after the PwC before the Natty`s! I love EX-P before the topper! Anyway`s, what kind of car is that? Great Job!!!!!

That`s all the pics I have. I only had time to do the trunk lid and the left front fender. Also used SSR2 on the roof. I`ll finish it up next week and have some more pics, weather permitting.

BTW- The car is a 2003 Mazda 6i. Here`s an old pic, not "detailed"
