Hey guys, I tried using the sonus buffing bonnet on the orange pad like the package tells ya and I notice that the bonnet with the pad is very lumpy. I really would like to use the bonnet but im afraid to create any scratches since it is lumpy? Is there a technique to using the two together

Also, do you folks even recommend the bonnets for buffing, or do you folks stick with the sonus grey foam pad to get that high glossy look?

thank you for any suggestions,

I have not tried them out but what do you mean by lumpy?

when i put the bonnet over the orange pad, the surface becomes bunched up and lumpy, instead of the smooth flat surface. Im not sure if the bonnet is to small for the pads or should I just use the bonnet over the stock white pad and backing plate?

The instructions says to use with the orange pad but it becomes lumpy and deformed..

(sigh....:sosad )
