Help with applying & removing FMJ

I will be using FMJ for the first time.



If you use the PC, how do you apply? With a white LC polish pad or a black LC finish pad?



Do you do the whole vehicle allowing it to dry to a haze and then buff off?



Or do you do a section at a time and buff off while still wet?

I`ve not tried it by machine but I would say the finishing pad. A very little goes a very long way. Apply it to the whole vehicle and then buff off.

I apply it with a cordless orbital and the pad is like a 4" finishing pad. Make an X on the pad with the FJM to start then as you need to apply more I just make 5 dots about 1/8" of FMJ around the outside of the pad.



I do 1/4 of the car then buff but it doesn`t seem to mind being on a while if it spread thin.
