I thought I`d investigate this line of products further. If I understand the description, sounds like they are useful on hard paint (like mine). Any thoughts on them? Thanks!

Very popular here in the UK with the trade as I understand that they work best with a rotary as opposed to PC.

I just had some repainting done on my garage queen and they used G3 with a rotary to level the top laqcuer coat - left some marring but that was probably inexpertise with the buffer IMO!

The only issue with it is that it`s a wet application and you need to use their pads etc.

I`ve brought it up in the past to see if anyone here had used it and didn`t get much of a response.

It`s a good product but a wet application makes it messy.

Thanks for the feedback. If this stuff is pretty effective quickly on hard clear , like Audi, I don`t mind the wet mess

Some of the body shops in my home town use it and swear by it but it can be quite aggressive so it will take some practice probably before you might be good at it.

Try it out, from what I recall, it can be a bit on the pricey side as well.

Personally, I would probably go to IZ, Poorboy`s or Autoint higher strength polishes before making the leap the Farecla G-mop series line.

Yeah I use the 1z now and was kinda hoping maybe the G10 could do a faster, more effective job at eliminating very minor micromarring, almost invisible. From the sounds of things now, it may be too aggressive of a product line over all :nixweiss

I understand you really have to use the Farecla pads with their compounds. Do you really need their own backing plate too? TIA
