Friend of mine brought his Saturn over today and was showing me a defect on his hood. The car is about 3 months old and has never been waxed. It has a spot (sorry, no camera with macron lense) on it that looks like bird crap or something sat on it. Best was I can describe it is that it is about a quater inch diameter and it looks like the paint is shriveled or pruned. Rest of hood is in good condition. I almost think it is a factory defect. Can something like this be clayed or polished out?
