Hey guys, I`m afraid my novice skills are causing more problems than solving. I have a lot of swirling between the headlights of my Z. I went at them with the PC using VM on Meg`s Polishing pad on a setting of 4. It didn`t look like it was doing much so I switched to DACP/cutting pad which worked really good on my Integra a couple weeks ago. Still got no where on the swirls. It actually looks like it may be getting worse. Here is an old pic of the front end for reference.

I try to keep the PC level at all times but It just seems like maybe I shouldn`t even be using the PC on that surface?

Maybe a 4" cutting pad could help. Don`t be afraid to crank the PC up to 6. Aside from DACP and VM, do you have any other polishes? After using the cutting pad, switch back down to the polishing pad.

I have #82, #9, Scratch x, Color x (AIO and 1Z on the way). When you say don`t be afraid to turn it up to 6 are you talking about the DACP?

Dont be afraid to crank it up to 6 doing any polishing. This will help it break down much faster, and give you better results.

Is that part made of plastic (like bumper) or metal ?

If it`s plastic it could be a little more tricky.
