I`ve been playing around with my rotary on test metal but I really want to remove a nasty scratch from my hood. It`s about a foot in length but you can`t feel it. I hit it with a polishing pad using DACP and tried it around 1500 RPM. This is on my daily driver and not on my practice cars so I tried to be cautious. I definately lightened the blemish but it still bothers me. Should I try using a more aggressive combination or does it sound like I would have to remove too much clear to take care of it?
