I wondered in my spare time how long would it take for Sam`s to get in on MF towels. Today I saw them gleeming gold in the automotive isle. I grabbed a few packs as my excitement grew after seeing the $7.98 price tag. These are 70-30 as the Costco towels were 80-20. You can tell a difference in the plushness of the 2 as I have new packs of both. I don`t recall the Costco price but I know it was more.
Doesn`t the .98 mean it is a closeout item at Sam`s:(

It usually ends in 1 if it is a clearance item.

Edging is not so hot and inspect the "melted" corners...trim both as needed. Washing twice seemed to help with vinegar/water rinse. Otherwise, a lot of MFs for the money. Still like the good stuff for the car finish steps but what a great value for basic detailing towels! (I wonder how long they will last? I got two packs anyway.)

What size are they and how many in a pack?
i`m not a strong believer in this yet, but i haven`t tried them. Does it say for automotive use on the package? There are a lot of products now that use microfiber technology.

Think they are 16x16 and there are a dozen in the pack for $8.00

I`ve been using these and even after washing them a few times I still get lint when using them on the windows. Any suggestions?

Spend the money at Autofiber.com you will thank yourself. Their Pro towels are very nice and the Elites are VERY plush. Ian has a great deal now $19.95 for 5 Elites and a botle of Restore. Best of all his customer service is Top Notch.

Same here, however I picked up a new batch and they don`t lint as much. I just went and bought a different towel for windows.

No, the costco towels are 80-20, the Sam`s are 70-30.
