Over the weekend there was a charity carshow so I figured why not? It was a lot of fun and all proceeds went to Feed The Need.

I worked on my car from mid-day friday until about midnight. When I woke up Saturday morning, I apllied the finishing touches.

Paint process was, wash, SSR1, #81, NXTx2, topped with TS in the A.M. The tires are dressed with poorboy`s B&B. I used S&W throughout the show to maintain.

The engine was cleaned with an EZ detail brush and dressed with meguiars #40 cut 50/50.

Oddly enough the main thing that I was asked all day was "how is the engine that clean after 108,000+ miles?" I guess engine detailing must be a real enigma. :dunno

Anyway, I went into the show expecting nothing and ended up winning first in my class and best engine overall. I was pleased and had a great time!

Yep, lug nut sheered off a few weeks ago. I tried to fix it, but the entire axle must be removed to replace it. I am going to have pay someone to do it.

LouisanaJeeper, the wheels are a bit different. They are not for everyone, but I like them.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words!

I went with the least agresive product to get the job done. I thought about the #80 though!!:D

317indy, Nope I am Joe from Memphis not Matt from Indy. ;)

I am not surprised that there is another car with the same wheels. When I got these a few months ago I knew that they would be played within a year. I like to change them out with my other two sets anyway.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments.
