will 3m adheasvie and wax remover hurt platics?

I was wondering if the 3m adheasive and wax remover will harm plastics? i want to use it for removing dead wax from them. like decorative body plastics, lower body plastics such as honda elements, avalanche etc

I haven`t used it on the vehciles you mentioned, but it never hurt the plastic on *my* vehicles.
